A Rustic Mid 18th Century English Antique Pine Pot Board Dresser Base

A rustic, mid-18thC Engish antique pine dresser base with pot board.

With a plank top over three drawers supported by arch-shaped aprons and three shaped legs. The pot board retains its original planks.

The dresser is lovely colour-wise and has a great depth of patination too. 

Provenance – This item was originally sold by Christopher Peters Antiques of Brinklow, Warwickshire, UK, to a private collector in Kent. The dresser was subsequently used as a free-standing piece of kitchen furniture. It is therefore offered for sale with an associated Welsh-made slate slab top that the Kent-made owner had bespoke made (the slate is not fixed and although heavy can be lifted to reveal the original wooden plank top).

Condition – good overall. The structure is sound and ready to be used. There is some age related wear as one would expect and some old worm marks (but not active and also treated by us as a precautionary measure).
