George III Oak Lined Mahogany Chest of Drawers with Canted Reeded Corners
A good quality C18th mahogany chest of two short over four long graduated drawers with canted corners raised on bracket feet.
The drawers lined in oak with cock beading and brass swan neck handles below a moulded top.
Constructed from well figured cuts of mahogany, the chest is of excellent colour and has the most wonderful patina from some two hundred and fifty years of use.
A really heavy, well constructed chest of drawers providing a large amount of storage space. In excellent condition with some later handles and an early repair to the rear edge of the top.
