Pair of Large 18th Century Antique Repoussé-Worked Brass Wall Reflectors / Wall Sconces, Almost Two Feet Tall!

A pair of 18th-century antique brass wall reflectors.

Scandinavian origin.

Each is of elongated form with a single candleholder. Decorated throughout with repoussé work, engraved and punchwork decoration.

Provenance – Sourced directly from Sweden.

Condition – Cleaned by the prior owner. Please refer to the images. In good order overall. One rivet is missing on one of the reflectors where the upper panel is attached to the main panel below. It remains closely fixed and isn’t detectable unless viewed under close scrutiny (see last image).

There are no holes. The brass is of good gauge, and the repousseé work and punchwork decoration is of very good quality.

The candleholders are detachable. Each has a solder repair to the underside, but again, it isn’t noticeable, and the rolled candleholders are also decorated and in good condition
