18th Century Italian Walnut Architectural Temple Model with Bronze Venus Statue – Grand Tour Collectible
A charming 18th-century Italian antique walnut-veneered architectural model of a Roman temple.
Constructed with an oak carcass and overlaid with walnut veneer and inlaid marquetry veneer decoration.
With an elongated and cushion-formed pediment above a niche, inset with a neoclassical bronze statue of Venus. Supported by a base of polygon form and terminating on a shaped foot.
This item has the most wonderful patina.
