Description
19th Century English Antique Copper Chamberstick With Iron Carry-Handle
A 19th-century English antique copper chamberstick. Used at night to guide a person to the bed chamber!
We liked the quirkiness of this item! This can almost be deemed a piece of 19th-century “up-cycling” as a copper cooking pan lid has been made into a lighting device by someone, attaching a single rolled candlesconce, formed from copper, and riveting it to the lid.
With a single rolled candle socket over a circular base/drip pan (converted pan lid) with a raised outer rim and an iron carry handle. The stick can still be used.
Condition – Good as per the images. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
