A large 18th Century, George III Period antique pewter communion cup, dated 1797.
English origin.
The bowl a flared rim and engraved ‘1797’. Supported by a knopped stem with central fillet, and circular domed-and-stepped foot.
The bowl will hold 25.2 fl. oz. of wine (716 ml).
Provenance – Ex Tony Chapman pewter collection.
