Karl Hagenauer Card Holder

An extremely sleek and stylish Modernist card holder, designed and made by Karl Hagenauer, circa 1950.

At first glance, this polished brass stand expertly cut and bent out of high quality brass sheet is very simple. However, like a piece of Modern art, the restraint form of the object has been achieved not by chance but through thorough consideration and experimentation.

This piece would make the most sumptuous desk accessory, as a holder for your business cards. The petite stand could also be used as a small letter rack.

Elaborately stamped with all Werkstätte Hagenauer’s associated marks.
